The idea of showcasing the lesser-known beauty of our land began in 2019, when Katerina created the first page under the name “The Unknown Meteora” to share her photographs, stories, landscapes, and traditions often overlooked by visitors. What started as a personal vision slowly grew into a shared dream. In 2025, this dream took shape as The Unknown Meteora Experiences, bringing together friends and family with one common purpose: to highlight Gavro's Meteora through authentic, sustainable, and locally rooted experiences.

Each of us contributes a piece of this vision. Katerina leads the rugged trails and tells the stories hidden in the rocks and forests. Thomas, an expert in outdoor activities and mountain leadership, brings his knowledge of nature and adventure.
