Born in Trikala and raised in the village of Gavros—the heart and base of her activities—Katerina developed an intimate relationship with the natural world from an early age. As a child, she spent countless hours exploring forests, hidden trails, rocky landscapes, and riverbeds, building a lifelong bond with the environment that now defines her work.
She holds a degree in Computer Engineering, but her path led her back to the mountains, where she is now a certified mountain leader with extensive field experience. Beyond guiding, she is a passionate amateur naturalist and forager, constantly seeking to deepen her understanding of local flora, fauna, and ecosystems.
In her free time, she dedicates herself to discovering and mapping forgotten paths, actively contributing to their revival and preservation. For Katerina, exploration is not just an activity—it is a way of life.
